bar staff were incredibly rude upon arrival however the servers were absolutely fantastic and saved the experience! the food was absolutely delicious, squid was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the sandwiches on the lunch menu are a 10/10!

Absolutely lovely place to visit. Place and atmosphere is great. Amelia who was looking after us was friendly and lovely. All staff is ver professional and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

We were a table of four last Saturday night. First time for all of us and will not be the last 💯. We all took advantage of the 3 course meal and bottle of wine for two, all for £100 fantastic offer 👌
Absolutely worth every penny. Firstly, the wine that is on offer is very nice, the variety of food choice is very good too. Not to mention the quality of food.
The restaurant is very clean, modern with a good vibe. We had Gemma serve us on the night she was friendly and never left us without a drink and checked up on us to make sure all was good.
We found all staff very friendly, we are already planning our next visit. 😜

A lovely meal at our local for my 40th celebrations with my lovely neighbours! Emily and the team were very attentive and made us feel welcome in a cosy atmosphere. Great food and service and a very nice gesture of writing me a card sending me birthday wishes! Thank you so much Emily and team!

Have gone to the wavendon arms for years and always had great service (especially from the door host who I assume is the owner). Tonight was not very pleasantly greeted by a new door host who was EXTREMELY rude and un accommodating! Turned us away and looks like we won’t be giving anymore business here! Such a shame, used to be great but gone downhill for a while now!

We had a great breakfast here. The food was freshly cooked and there was plenty of it. Our server was really pleasant and was very apologetic about the fact that the coffee machine wasn’t working. (We’d already had a phone call before we arrived that this was the case and we were given the opportunity to cancel). It was my first breakfast here and it definitely won’t be the last.

Food was really good. Had the roast pork belly plenty of veg with it. Staff were friendly and chatty. Desserts really nice. Really busy on a Sunday. Would recommend pre booking.
